Do you charge a fee for remote, live directed sessions?There is an additional charge for a live remote directed session. That fee is included in the detailed quote that I will give you for your project and is paid before the session takes place. The cost of the session is subtracted from your final balance. Do you offer live, remote, directed sessions?Yes I do. If you are a professional studio, I can do a session via Source-Connect Standard. Otherwise, I also offer directed sessions via Zoom or Skype. I will also use another service such as Google Meet or even Facebook Messenger if it is more convenient for you.

What is your policy for retakes and or revisions?Retakes (mistakes that are made by me) will be done free of charge. Revisions done because of script changes are charged according to several factors. You can see (and download if you like) my full Retakes and Revisions Policy, HERE.

What will it cost to hire you for my project?I quote my rates based on standard, professional, non-union GVAA rates. However there are a number of factors that contribute to the quote for your project. The most important factor is the recording's "usage" or how the recording will be used, for how long, and where it will broadcast or otherwise used. You can find more information on my rates, HERE.

Can you walk me through your process?It's a fairly straight ahead process that looks a lot like this: You will first send me your script including the expected usage (where it will run, how long it will run, and on what media it will run). I will send you a quote, usually within an hour or two at most. When we agree to move forward, we will discuss what you are looking for in terms of creative direction. I will then record the script, edit it, and send it to you. It's then up to you to approve the recording or to ask for retakes or revisions. After final approval, I will send you the invoice for my work. See my policy for retakes and revisions, HERE. How will you send me my completed file(s)?If the file is very small, I can usually send it to you via email. For projects that are too big to send via email, or for projects that involve mulitple files, I will generally use a large file transfer service such as We Transfer.

How long will it take for you to record my script?Most projects can be recorded and sent to you within one business day. However, that depends on the length and scope of the project. Very long scripts would obviously take longer to complete. You can schedule a call with me to discuss the details of your project, HERE. Can I send you an audition script?Yes, you most certainly can! You can fill out the form on my Auditions page, HERE. You can also feel free to send via email to tom@tomconklinvoice.com, but please remember to tell me about the script and to provide some performance direction.

Will you consider working for a flat fee for a project that includes a large quantity of recordings?The short answer is, yes. There are however many factors involved. A quote for this type of work is always custom to your particular project. If you would like to schedule a Zoom call do discuss a custom quote for your project, you can do so, HERE.

Can I schedule a call with you to discuss the details of my project?Yes. You can schedule a meeting with me, HERE. Simply select any available date and time, and a Zoom link will be generated and sent to you via email. This will also confirm our meeting.
